"After having a terrible time trying to order pizza at my wife and my hotel room we decided to look for a place to eat and stumbled onto maybe the best mexican food my wife and I have ever had. I highly recommend this to anyone. The prices are great and the portions huge. It's not in the heat of the down town so there are places to park!! Delicious!!"

"Located across the street from the Alamo Steakhouse, this is a little jewel. And there is free parking at the restaurant! It is family owned and the owner and his wife are so delightful. The menu is varied and very inexpensive. The food is exquisite. I had their Chicken Fajita Salad and it was very delicious. The guacamole is wonderful. My husband had their Beef Tacos with rice and beans and loved it. The tortilla chips are freshly cooked, not the store brand you get at most Mexican restaurants. And plentiful as we had as many refills as we wanted. Their salsa is also very fresh and we had refills on this too. There is a salsa bar also, so you can pick the type of salsa you desire. We loved the energy and the entire staff is exceptional. Can't wait to return."

"Passed by this place several times and it always had a good crowd. Decided to give it a try and so glad we did. Super friendly service and the food was delicious! Sausage queso dip was the bomb, fabulous fajitas and the enchiladas chicanas were fantastic. Would highly recommend!"

"I love Mexican food and I am very fussy and particular. My husband and I had a great experience there. The food was excellent, the enchiladas were great! There are many dishes available, you won't be disappointed. The owner waited on us, and she was very welcoming and delightful. Her family and extended family own and run this delightful Mexican restaurant. Well priced and worth the visit! "

"Just out of town to the East. Had a great lunch. Food is fresh and tastes wonderful. Beer is cold. The owners work at the restaurant are friendly and outgoing. Enjoy your meal!"

"Stopped here on our first night in town and sat out on the patio. Quickly served drinks, followed by homemade chips and salsa. They had a salsa bar inside with 6 (or more) different homemade salsas to choose from if you wanted something more than the standard fare. My meal—a mixed plate fajita style dish (the Sonador special)—was exquisite and very large (I got two meals out of it), and everything including tortillas and guac were homemade. The kids had a taco and quesadilla that they loved as well. Total bill including a beer was under $30 with tip. "
